We have a big week ahead! Kicking off the week, we welcome the first day of May (Beltane) which is also portal day #14. Later on Monday, Pluto goes retrograde for 5 months during which time it will slide back into Capricorn. On Tuesday, we begin a new month in the Mayan Solar Calendar: The Spectral Moon of Liberation. This works well with the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Friday, May 5th, which is arguably the main event of the week. For Algonquin peoples, this Scorpio Full Moon in Taurus is called the "Flower Moon". In Buddhist tradition, this Full Moon marks THE most sacred day "Vesak". The Day of Vesak marks Buddha's birth. Some buddhists also believe this day marks Buddha's attainment of enlightenment, and eventual passing. Tibetan Buddhists believe that every year at the moment of the Full Moon, Buddha descends to the Himalayan valley to bless the Earth Plane. Last Wednesday, in speaking to Republican's ongoing attack of Democracy, AOC stated at a rally: "It is always darkest before the dawn." Given the eclipses and the Pluto retrograde, this may be an accurate description of the next few months. We will speak more about the energies at play below.

1:09PM ET: Pluto retrograde Begins
- Pluto is one of the slow-moving planets on the outskirts of the galaxy. When these planets change signs, they always retrograde back into the previous sign to clean up what is not yet complete/correct.
- Pluto is the planet of regeneration, transformation and rebirth. When Pluto first moved into Aquarius on March 23rd this year, I noted that this marks another important step in Society's transition to the Age of Aquarius.
- Now that Pluto is going retrograde, it will re-enter Capricorn on June 11th and remain there until January 20th, 2024. This period may feel like any gains we have made in recent months are being erased. The "far right" may even appear to be winning.
- What this retrograde calls us to do is to reconsolidate those gains so that they last. It is my belief that after Pluto re-enters Aquarius in January 2024, this transition to the age of Aquarius will be complete and there is no going back.
- While Pluto is retrograde, let's remember AOC's quote "It's the darkest before the dawn."
Astrology Keynote: Moon squares Venus and conjoins Ceres can bring up disagreements with family members. The Sun-Mercury conjunction can usually be considered a green "go-ahead" light. However, with Mercury retrograde, we are better advised to review rather than implement plans.

- Today begins the 11th month in the Mayan Solar Calendar, the month of the Spectral Moon of Liberation. The keywords are: dissolve, release, and liberation. This energy can be supportive of the upcoming Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. While emotional endings tend to happen around the time of a Lunar Eclipse, endings of relationships/situations that no longer serve us can be liberating.
2:09AM ET: Moon enters Libra (keywords: restore balance, relationships, partnerships, cooperative, beautify)
1:34PM ET: 72 hours of manifestation before the Full Moon begins
Astrology Keynote: Venus sextiles Eris, courageously expressing her opinions. Nice, after another foggy morning with the Sun semi-square Neptune.
