Vol. 1, No. 2: Week of January 9th to January 15th

Dear Readers,

We are introducing a new element to our weekly guides: The Voyager Tarot Deck. The voyager deck matches up with the Love/Destiny cards and offers us additional information on the energy of each date.

Looking at this week, 2023 is officially starting. The top astrological event is Mars going direct on Thursday, the stagnation we have been experiencing over the past few months is about to end and the world is about to pick up speed. On the Mayan side of things, we begin a new month on Tuesday followed by two portal days on Thursday and Saturday as well as power-doubled Friday. We should still bear in mind that Mercury is retrograde until January 18th, so there might still be some redo, replace, reassessing before we move full speed ahead.

Tuesday, January 10th, 2023:

• Today we also enter a new month in the Mayan calendar - the resonant moon month of attunement. The keywords for this month are channel, inspire, and attunement.

  • If you recall, 2023 started on Yellow Resonant Seed, the 7th tone Resonant which represents mystical power is being highlighted in the first Mayan month to start in 2023 again.

  • This is also the 7th month of this Mayan year (which has a total of 13 months). The 7th month is called the middle pillar (with 6 months on either side). The first six months are developmental to set us up for the last six months. This 7th month in the middle gives us an opportunity to go within and integrate our growth and learning from the first six months.

  • Mars will stay in Gemini until March 25th

  • Mars in Gemini keywords: Curious, exploration, flexibility, intellect, might have challenges staying focused on one thing

  • Note that Mercury is still retrograde, so things might still be slow until January 18th. Use these days to review your work and make sure you are ready to move full steam ahead when the time gets here.

• Today is also Friday the thirteenth! The negative aspect of this day stems from the vicious attack and overrunning of the Knights Templar on Friday October 13th, 1307 (read more here). I have a different read of this date and consider it an extraordinary empowered day. While many historians consider this date to mark the end of the Knights Templars, more recent scholars are debating this view. The attack on Friday the 13th caused the Knights Templar to flee with their treasures and consequently expanded their influence as they built sacred sites and structures everywhere they went (E.g.: Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland).
