Whew, what a weekend...and this week, we have not one, not two, but THREE planet transitions!

We start the week with Venus entering dramatic and expressive Leo. Monday and Saturday are power-doubled days. Also on Saturday, the Last Quarter Moon begins, marking a time to relax, release and heal (especially in relation to the intentions we set on the New Moon). Then on Sunday, Mercury moves into inquisitive and multitasking Gemini while Pluto re-enters Capricorn amidst its retrograde. This Pluto transition is significant and there is a lot more about it below.

These are also the last few weeks of Spring before we welcome in Summer Solstice on June 21st. Spring is the Season of Revelation (much like the Season of Transforming Vision in the Mayan Solar Calendar that just concluded). Now is the time to look back at what new information you have received, what hidden knowledge has been revealed. More information can come in over the next 16 days, so stay open.

Note:

This past Saturday (June 3rd), we also entered the Middle Pillar in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar (a mini version of the Mayan Solar Calendar). The Middle Pillar is the 7th column consisting of 20 symbols in the middle of this 13-column calendar. The 20 days of Middle Pillar are for integrating the first six columns in preparation for the final six. Therefore, it is a bit like retrograde with the emphasis on going internal (without the glitches and potential for negativity)

Astrology Keynote: With the Moon in Capricorn, the scene is set for us to be efficient and productive. As Venus enters Leo and opposes Pluto, relationship issues will seem compelling in their urgency. Power struggles are typical with this opposition, as are jealousies/suspicions of betrayal. Plutonian intensity rules the realm today.

Tuesday, June 6th, 2023:

Astrology Keynote: The Moon squares Chiron possibly revealing insecurities. However, the Capricorn Moon's trine to Uranus early-afternoon indicates a surprising new level of assuredness/willingness to experiment (within reason). Late afternoon/early evening, our inner resolve is strengthened to proceed with our plans, and the necessary mental focus is provided. Our commitment may be tested middle-evening but we end the day with a sense of satisfaction with our accomplishments.

Astrology Keynote: After a few days of buildup, Venus and Mars in Leo form a stubborn T-square with Jupiter in Taurus and Pluto in Aquarius today. Under this influence we may be aggressive and overly sensitive. Today's aspects, while "only" lunar, are all powerful and mostly challenging: starting with a very early Pluto conjunction that intensifies the urge to transform and make progress...NOW; an early-morning Venus opposition increases drama, potentially causing distance in relationships; around noon, the know-it-all Moon stubbornly proclaims her opinion without considering whether others are ready to listen; late this evening, the Mars opposition can expose pent-up tensions that can cause theatrical bursts of anger.

Late afternoon, tests are resolved to not let stubborn pride undermine diplomatic solutions. Late evening conversations may be difficult, as each party resists being told what to do.

Astrology Keynote: A Sun-Chiron sextile very early this morning provides opportunities for healing conversations in bed. But with Neptune opposing Ceres around noon, any romanticized expectations of perfect outcomes are likely to be disappointed.

5:47AM ET: Pluto re-enters Capricorn
- Pluto began its retrograde on May 1st. Today, Pluto will leave Aquarius and retrograde into Capricorn
- As a slow-moving outer planet, when Pluto changes sign, it always treks backward to revisit the previous sign. This energy supports us to tie up any loose ends and ensure that deep, real change in our lives are anchored. Consequently, a bright light is often shined on our negative patterns as individuals and communities.
- Specifically, Pluto retrograde in Capricorn supports us to reconsider some of our long-held goals and objectives. Clinging to what seemed to be well-laid plans that no longer serve us will lead us nowhere.
- Applying this to the broader society, I have predicted that during this period of Pluto retrograde it may seem like the conservative/far-right is winning again and we may experience more resistance in our work. Pluto's re-entry into Capricorn potentially initiates another round of political disruptions worldwide (What is Ukraine, Alex?). What we are experiencing is a highlighting of these continued challenges: the attachment to an antiquated oppressive hierarchy. So don't fret, and keep doing our Light work.
- It is also my belief that when Pluto goes direct (October 10th, 2023) and re-enters Aquarius (January 20th, 2024 - exactly one year from the next inauguration), it will mark the final step in our transition to The Aquarian/New Age. Isn't that exciting?!
6:27AM ET: Mercury enters Gemini (keywords: multitasking, philosophical conversations, curiosity, distracted)
9:20AM ET: Moon enters Aries (keywords: bold, impulsive, energetic, argumentative, starting point, drive)
Astrology Keynote: With these planet transitions, today is likely another emotionally volatile day. Self confidence may be lacking very early this morning. Mercury, in the final degree of Taurus trines Pluto soon after this ingress, inspiring passionate verbal exchanges and persuasive speeches (Who is Zelensky/Putin, Alex?). With Mercury entering Gemini, we may be inundated by ongoing, rapid firing news bulletins (What is MSNBC, Alex?). With Jupiter square Venus at 11:30AM ET and semi-square to the Sun at 4:30PM ET, we may not get as much accomplished today as the Aries Moon would like (What is enough Jeopardy, Alex?), as social activities require our presence (thank you, Moon-Venus trine).
