Dear Readers,

This week, the systems continue to urge us along our own paths of spiritual development and growth. We have two power-doubled days: Tuesday and Sunday. The main events take place this weekend. On Saturday, Saturn goes retrograde. If you have been feeling a little slowed down and weighed down recently, you are likely feeling the effects of Saturn Retrograde as it approaches. With Pluto and Saturn both retrograde, it can make for an interesting period - more details below. On Sunday, we have a New Moon to begin a new lunar cycle. Set your intentions with consideration of the Sabian symbols for this Moon and the planets in retrograde.

Monday, June 12th, 2023:

- An expanded read of this Sabian symbol points to its focus on the feminine and reference to the feminist movements that challenge century-old social hierarchies. Standing on the verge of the New Age, "A new race of human beings may well be slowly unfolding some of its potential of consciousness and fulfillment." As we have witnessed, activists, scholars and teacher are sounding the call while more of us are preparing ourselves for this transition.

If you have been feeling weighed down by your responsibilities or if you feel like you are making no progress or even stepping backwards despite all your efforts...you are likely feeling the effects of Saturn retrograde which could be felt weeks before its onset
Like when any planet goes retrograde, the key to Saturn retrograde is in "re-", this is a time to re-evaluate and re-think our current structures, rules, and limits which are what Saturn teaches us.
With Saturn and Pluto (the two most serious teachers amongst the planets) both in retrograde now, this is not the best time for new ventures. However, this is the time to hunker down and do the "boring" part of the job: turn the creative ideas and visions we have formulated into concrete reality.
As a reminder, Pluto went retrograde on May 1st, 2023 at 0°21 Aquarius. The Sabian symbol is as follows: Aquarius 1°: “An old Adobe mission in California”; Keynote: the power inherent in all great human works to endure far beyond the worker’s life spans; Keyword: the concretization of an ideal.
- At moments of change and potential turmoil as part of planet retrograde, this Sabian symbol is reassuring as it speaks to the endurance of well-established spiritual ideals in manifest form. Using TF as an example, this symbol could be representational of the US constitution. After all, the last time Pluto entered Aquarius was 1778 during the American Revolution.
Astrology Keynote: A Mercury-Venus sextile at 11:30AM ET makes brunch conversations flow smoothly, easing us into our day. However, the topics of conversation may be more serious than expected. Due to Saturn stationing retrograde.

- A more expanded read of this Sabian symbol implies a departure from the instinctual and the development of the complex mental processes. This marks a period of transition and, consequently, inner transformation.
6:58AM ET: Moon enters Cancer (keywords: home and family, caring for others, sensitive, attachment)
Astrology Keynote: With the Moon entering Cancer at 7:00AM, we are prompted to seek comforting surroundings. Planetary activity is on pause for much of the day (whew) providing the space for self-nurturing. The Moon-Jupiter sextile at 8:45PM ET encourages us to venture from the nest and the Moon-Saturn trine 15 minutes later strengthens our resolve to be present for others. But with the Sun moving to square Neptune at midnight, our minds may be foggy as it is hard to focus...good luck.
