Vol. 1, No. 3: Week of January 16th to January 22nd

Dear Readers,

Another big week! As we approach Kin 260, there are no more portal days until kin 260. That being said, we do have two power-doubled days on Wednesday and Saturday this week.

We have a few astrology headlines: mercury stations direct on Wednesday, new moon on Saturday, and Uranus stations direct on Sunday. This also means, by the end of this week, ALL PLANETS ARE DIRECT for the first time since last October. Pace of life will pick up and all things should run smoother now. This will last until mid-April, so use these days wisely and get a lot done!

The new moon on Saturday is a Cazimi new moon making extra powerful. Read more below. What’s even more auspicious is: this new moon also marks the lunar new year. In Chinese zodiac, we will be entering the water rabbit year.

  • Compared to the dramatic ups and downs of the tiger year that was 2022, this coming rabbit year will be much more gentle and calm.

  • The water element adds more fluidity to the year

  • However, if you are expecting a monotonous year, you could be in for a surprise. There’s an old Chinese saying “even rabbits bite when provoked”. All zodiac + element combinations come in 60 year cycles. The last water rabbit year was 1963 when 25000 people marched for civil rights in the U.S., JFK was assassinated and Martin Luther King gave his “I Have a Dream Speech”. Rabbits are fast, swift, and many. What we might also be a part of is positive changes created by the masses quickly coming to fruition at this critical juncture in history.
